Nurtured Minds Counseling is grounded in the belief that growth happens when children and families feel safe, heard and supported.
Therapy is intentionally paced and collaborative, creating a space for tweens, teens and young adults to explore their thoughts and emotions without pressure or judgment.
Who I Work With
I work with tweens (11 and up), teens and young adults as they navigate the emotional challenges that shape who they are becoming.

Identity development and self-confidence concerns
My work is shaped by 15 years of experience in public schools, which has given me a deep understanding of the academic, social and cultural realities children face every day.

My approach is evidence-informed and individualized, with sessions tailored to each client’s needs, goals and developmental stage.
Therapy may focus on:
Understanding patterns in thoughts, emotions and behaviors
Building coping skills for stress and big emotions

Developing practical tools that translate into daily life
With younger clients, therapy includes creative and developmentally appropriate methods—such as play and hands-on activities—to support expression in ways that feel natural and safe.

Child & Adolescent Therapy
45-minute sessions | Ages 11–18
These in-person sessions are designed to support tweens and teens as they navigate emotional, social and developmental challenges. Sessions are paced with care and tailored to each child’s needs, using developmentally appropriate and evidence-informed approaches to build coping skills, confidence and emotional awareness.

Adult Therapy
50-minute sessions
Individual therapy for adults offers a supportive space to explore stress, life transitions and emotional challenges. Sessions are collaborative and thoughtfully paced, focusing on self-understanding, practical tools and strategies that support growth in everyday life.

Virtual Therapy
Ages 16+ | Texas residents
Virtual therapy sessions are available for individuals ages 16 and older who reside in Texas. Telehealth provides a flexible option for receiving care while maintaining the same thoughtful, individualized approach in a secure and confidential setting.
